3-3-24: Regrets - unable to secure extra gym space for 8u9u open gyms. Coaches Rob and Joe will see all at the tryouts on March 9 and 10.
2-28-24 Update: Sunday March 3 open gyms NOT happening - gym availability issue came up... 8-( - we are looking at a posssible Monday March 4th session for 8u-9u Boys.
2-27-24 Update: Added 8u-9u boys and additional HS Girls Open Gym Sessions Sunday March 3 at Pro Fit.

The Classics AAU Basketball Club is excited to announce our tryouts for the 2024 Spring-Summer season for 3rd-12th grade boys and girls teams. (Note for high school teams and 8th grade teams moving to 9th grade in the Fall of 2024, the season actually includes the fall through Mid November.) |
Any revisions to the schedule due to weather or other reasons, will be updated on the main website page and on this Tryouts page, as needed. Please check this page often for updates that may occur.
REGSTRATION INFO: To register for tryouts, players on teams from the 2023-24 Fall Winter season who have an existing player profile are already set. For new players, please try and submit a player profile via this link, (http://classicsbasketball.d1scout.com/index.cfm?page=pdf_playerProfile), at least 1 day before the tryout date!!
Again if you are/were on an existing team and have a current Classics Player Profile (i.e., you are receiving club wide announcements about tryouts, gear sales, etc.) you are all set- PLEASE do NOT submit a new player profile!

TRYOUTS CHECK IN INFO: For the tryouts, players should arrive about 15 minutes before the scheduled tryout session to check in outside the GYM, and obtain a numbered tryouts pinnie. There is a tryout fee payment of $25. $20 for players returning from the Fall-Winter season and for returning high school team players from the 2024 season. (One time fee covers all tryouts/pre-tryouts sessions.)
Payment in cash or via check on the day of the tryout is preferred.

LOCATION: All tryouts sessions listed below for both Boys and Girls 3rd-12th grades are being held at Earl Wood Middle School, 14615 Bauer Drive, Rockville, Md.

Pre-Tryouts Open Gyms Schedule (Updated 2-28-24, 7am)
We will be holding several open gyms for specific grades before the tryouts weekends as listed on the calendar below. You can download a PDF of the Open Gyms Calendar by clicking here.
These are open to new and incumbent players to meet the coaches and get in some work before the tryouts weekends. There is no cost for these open gyms. This Open Gyms schedule is subject to change if the schools change their plans. We will update the information as soon as we are aware of changes and email all with a Player Profile registration as well.
Additional sessions may be added pending specific grade/age group coaches and/or gym locations availabilities.
